Our custom platforms and walkways are designed to provide solutions for maintenance and fire exit access. We can visit sites and carry out a thorough survey from which we generate AutoCAD drawings. These will be forwarded for approval to the project team prior to manufacture. They are manufactured from mild steel with a hot dip galvanised finish. Alternatively we can offer aluminium or GRP solutions upon request. Designed to comply with British Standards, these versatile and easy to assemble solutions are supplied with M24 adjustable legs, (to cater for the roof fall), and supported by our 320mm square feet Application: Generally positioned on flat roofs providing access to rooftop building services and fire exit access solutions.

Material specification:

  • Foot - 320mm square UV stabilised 100% polypropylene
  • Mat - 100% natural rubber (mat is adhered to the foot)
  • Legs - Step overs 48mm dia. 3mm steel tube with M24 stud adjuster. Hop-overs 40 x 40 x 2mm SHS • Handrails - 33.7mm diameter Kee-klamp (or similar) c/w interchangeable fittings
  • Treads/Flooring - 25 x 3mm open grid flooring. (41/100 bearing bars) and designed to 7.5kN/m2 loading BS:4592 part 1
  • Finish - Hot dip galvanised steelwork BS EN 10219· 1 :2006
  • Galvanising: BS EN ISO 1461 :2009. Salt mist treating: BS EN 60068-2·52
